Ayla Green runs the operations of the group and is here to answer any questions you might have. Her more than 16 years of performing on the Gulf Coast has given her many insights and much experience in how to ensure the smooth execution of the musical performances of an event.
Ayla has been playing the cello for over 20 years. She has performed regularly across the Gulf Coast playing with organizations such as but not limited to the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra, University of West Florida Runge Strings, University of Mobile, Pensacola State College, Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, Pensacola Opera, Gulf Coast Steinway Society, and Pensacola Little Theatre.
Caroline has been performing the viola for 10 years. Caroline is currently studying Viola Performance at the University of West Florida where she participates in the studios of Dr. Leonid Yanovskiy and Mr. Michael Fernandez. Caroline is currently principal violist with University of West Florida Runge Strings Orchestra and also performs with the Runge Strings Quartet. She has participated with the University of West Florida String Fest, Florida State University’s Summer Music Camps and served six years as principal violist for Escambia All County Orchestra. She has been a member of the worship band at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL for one year.
Winona has been performing for weddings over the last 25 years. She received her BA in Music from the University of Southern Mississippi and has formed relationships with many Gulf Coast Wedding planners. Winona has also performed with the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra and Panama City Pops Orchestra.
Liz has been performing cello for 8 years. She is pursuing a Cello Performance degree at the University of West Florida and has studied in the studios of Ayla Green, Dr. Sasha Pereverzeva and Dr. Jordan Galvarino. Liz has performed with the Florida State University Summer Music Camp, University of West Florida String Fest, and Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra. She is currently Principal Cellist with the Runge Strings Orchestra at UWF and can be seen regularly as a member of the worship team at Hillcrest Church in Pensacola, FL.
Emily Varley was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL. There, she attended Florida State University and received her bachelor's in Instrumental Music Education. Emily's own music education began at an early age, taking piano and singing in chorus by age five, playing in wind ensembles at age twelve, and writing both original and arranged works by age thirteen. She performs in her local area with the band What's Left of Us, has scored for video games, tabletop RPGs, and for film, and has written and arranged music for local performers all along the Gulf Coast.
